Mining Methods:
Surface: Open Pit Mining, Surface Auger Mining.
Underground: Conventional Drill, blast & loading, Bort & Pillar Mining, 7 lane continuous haulage systems, longwall / shortwall mining system. High, medium & low seam mining.
Content: The surface detail includes the complete materials handling route from the tip, primary crushing, screening, stockpile stackers and reclaimers, plant and route to loadout stations.
Open pit mining features overburden removal of soil by bucket wheel excavator, Interburden removal by dragline, Seam mining by rope shovels, hydraulic shovels and excavators. Other equipment includes long hole drills, haulers, bowsers and rehabilitation with a cross pit spreader, Surface auger miner up against high wall is also featured.

The underground section features three coal seams. High, medium and low seam mining. Conventional mining with Drilling, blasting and loading.
